As part of Florida Hospital, the Fracture Care Center has access to state-of-the-art technology and medical specialties from orthopaedic imaging and surgery to rehabilitation and wellness. Led by J. Dean Cole, MD, Brian Vickaryous, MD, and Michael A. Hawks, MD the FCC team provides high-quality, round-the-clock, diagnosis and treatment. Each patient is assured compassionate and expert care from the staff of the largest not-for-profit hospital in Florida.
The hand selected FCC team of experienced orthopaedic surgeons and related professionals treat more than 4,000 orthopaedic patients per year. This case volume provides the interdisciplinary team the experience needed to treat both routine and the most complex orthopaedic cases.
Our “Comprehensive Care” philosophy enables a true interdisciplinary approach unique to the Fracture Care Center. Dr. Cole’s pioneering use of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) has provided true innovations in the field of orthopaedic traumatology. Once appointments are scheduled, each patient is expertly diagnosed. At this point, the full team works together to create a personalized orthopedic treatment program.
