The team assists our physicians with orthopaedic procedures and typically begins initial medical care to ensure patients receive timely and effective treatment. After evaluating an individual patient, our physicians will determine the cause of pain and recommend a specific surgical intervention. First Response Orthopaedic Group members have extensive orthopaedic training and are uniquely qualified to treat orthopaedic traumas and injuries.
Daniel E. Drake, PA-CDaniel began his medical career as a radiographic technologist. His passion for medicine motivated him to complete his degree in physician assistant studies at Nova Southeastern University. Prior to coming to the Fracture Care Center, Daniel worked as a physician assistant at Radnothy Perry Orthopaedic Center.
Jeremy P. Ewbank, PA-CA physician assistant at the Fracture Care Center, Jeremy earned his master's degree at Barry University and completed his undergraduate degree at Campbell University. He developed his passion and experience in orthopaedic trauma during his career in the Army where he served and taught paramedic classes in the United States and abroad.
John M. Lahr, PA-CJohn completed his undergraduate work at Drake University and received his master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida. He has been with the Fracture Care Center since its beginning more than five years ago. John began his career as a medical specialist with the United States Army. In this capacity he gained extensive experience, while caring for patients with complex medical conditions.
Lisa M. Melnik, PA-CLisa received her degree in physician assistant studies from Drexel
University and her undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa.
She has experience in physical therapy and is also a certified personal
trainer. This experience allows her to be adept to the intricacies
of the musculoskeletal system. Arthur T. Rotter, PA-CArthur received his degree in physician assistant studies at the
University of Oklahoma. Prior to his work at the Fracture Care Center,
he provided emergency care at three Army hospitals and most recently
was a physician assistant for the North Shore University Hospital
in New York State. Justin R. Stearns, PA-CJustin completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida and received his master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Justin was a radiology technologist in the operating room for the Fracture Care Center.
Bryan K. Stewart, PA-CBryan completed his two undergraduate degrees from the University of Central Florida and his master's degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Florida College. Prior to becoming a physician assistant, Bryan worked for 16 years in the health care field as a surgical technician and also as a coordinator for the Fracture Care Center.
Nathan W. Summers, PA-C Nathan completed his undergraduate work at the University of Florida
and received his master's degree in physician assistant studies from
Baylor College of Medicine. He continues to be an active member of
several professional and community organizations. He has also earned
15 All-American Collegiate swimming titles, so he's uniquely experienced
in the needs of athletes.
