The First Response Orthopaedic Group consists of specialized nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are on-call 24 hours a day and seven days a week to assess patients and respond immediately to orthopaedic needs for the Florida Hospital system.

The team assists Dr. Cole with orthopaedic procedures and typically begins initial medical care to ensure patients receive timely and effective treatment. After evaluating an individual patient, Dr. Cole will determine the cause of pain and recommend a specific surgical intervention. First Response Orthopaedic Group members have extensive orthopaedic training and are uniquely qualified to treat orthopaedic traumas and injuries.

Christian D. Peluse, PA-C

Christian is a dedicated physician assistant with the First Response Orthopaedic Group. He received his bachelors degree in occupational therapy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his certificate in physician assistant studies from the Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York. Christian also has academic training in anatomy and basic science. He is a motivated member of the First Response Orthopaedic Group.
