From pre-admission to post-discharge, patients receive full attention from the dedicated physicians and orthopaedic staff, 24 hours a day and seven days per week. Minimally Invasive Surgery – Drs Cole, Vickaryous and Hawks are firm advocates for minimally invasive surgery (MIS), and have developed many of the techniques used by physicians worldwide. In fact, Dr. Cole was one of the first physicians who used a MIS approach to fracture treatment. The patient benefits include faster healing and recovery periods, and reduced risks for infections and complications. Among the many MIS services offered at the Center are those for: fractures, limb lengthening, limb salvage, bone infection (osteomyelitis) treatment, and hip and knee replacements.
